The Perpetual XXL Extra Firm Reinforced Pocket Spring Mattress

Karibian Perpetual XXL – Extra Firm Reinforced Pocket Spring Mattress

The Karibian Perpetual XXL is a mattress designed for people who need serious support and lasting strength. Extra firm, reinforced and substantial, it is particularly suited to larger builds, heavier sleepers and anyone who simply prefers the secure feeling of a genuinely firm mattress.

But firmness when a mattress is new is easy to achieve. What matters is how well that support performs year after year.

At Leo’s Home & Living, we have been helping customers choose mattresses on the Costa Blanca since 1993. Over more than 30 years, we have seen mattresses come and go, and we know there is a considerable difference between a mattress that feels impressive in the showroom and one designed to provide dependable support over the long term.

Engineered for Serious Support

At the heart of the Perpetual XXL is a reinforced pocket spring system, providing strong, individualised support across the mattress.

Rather than allowing the whole sleeping surface to move together, the pocket springs respond independently to pressure. This helps distribute body weight more effectively while providing the stable, supportive feel expected from an extra-firm mattress.

The mattress incorporates 7 support zones, designed to respond appropriately to different areas of the body and create a more balanced sleeping position.

For couples, the independent spring construction also helps reduce the transfer of movement from one side of the mattress to the other.

Particularly Suitable for Larger Builds

The Perpetual XXL has been developed with strength and higher levels of support firmly in mind and is recommended for sleepers approximately 90–145 kg.

This makes it an excellent option for customers who have struggled with mattresses that feel supportive initially but begin to feel too soft or lose their supportive character over time.

It can also be an excellent choice for someone below this weight range who simply enjoys an extra-firm sleeping surface. Comfort remains personal, which is why we always recommend trying the mattress in our Altea showroom before making your decision.

Built for Today – and the Years Ahead

Buying a mattress shouldn’t only be about how comfortable it feels during the first few weeks.

The Perpetual XXL is built around a simple philosophy: strength, support and longevity.

Its reinforced construction is intended to provide a substantial sleeping platform capable of coping with regular use while maintaining the supportive character for which the mattress was chosen.

After more than 30 years selling beds and mattresses on the Costa Blanca, this is something we consider extremely important. We prefer to help our customers choose a mattress with the right construction for their needs rather than simply recommending whatever feels softest or most luxurious during a five-minute test.

Reversible for Longer-Term Use

Unlike many modern one-sided mattresses, the Perpetual XXL is reversible.

Regularly turning and rotating a mattress helps distribute wear more evenly across its sleeping surfaces. For a mattress specifically designed around durability and long-term support, we consider this an important advantage.

The two-sided construction also provides summer and winter sleeping surfaces, allowing you to change sides according to the season.

A Substantial 29 cm Mattress

At approximately 29 cm deep, the Perpetual XXL has the substantial appearance you would expect from a premium reinforced mattress.

The generous profile, supportive internal construction and carefully finished exterior give it a reassuringly solid feel, making it particularly well suited to larger upholstered beds, storage beds and contemporary bed frames.
